“Did you hear the story about the kid who was outside the Democratic fundraiser selling kittens? When the people came out from the fundraiser, he was holding up the kittens, and he was saying, “Buy a Democrat kitten.” Well, a couple of weeks later the Republicans held a fundraiser in the same place. And when they came out, there was the same kid with the kittens. And he said, “Buy a Republican kitten.” And one of the members of the press who’d seen him there 2 weeks before said, “Wait a minute, kid. You were selling these kittens the last time as Democrat kittens. How come they’re Republican kittens now?” Kid says, “Because now they’ve got their eyes open.”” – Ronald Reagan

“This land of freedom was built, and is still being built, by men and women who, without chroniclers, without heralds, have brought a warrior’s courage to the challenges of everyday life. America is a land of heroes.” – Ronald Reagan

“I cannot and will not stand by and see this great country destroy itself.” – Ronald Reagan

“Regarding education reform, more money isn’t the answer -spending the money more wisely is the answer.” – Scott Walker @ the Reagan Library

“To me our country is a living, breathing presence, unimpressed by what others say is impossible, proud of its own success, generous, yes and naïve, sometimes wrong, never mean and always impatient to provide a better life for its people in a framework of a basic fairness and freedom.” – Ronald Reagan, 1979

On January 20, 1981, Ronald Reagan took office.  Dealing skillfully with Congress, Reagan obtained legislation to stimulate economic growth, curb inflation, increase employment, and strengthen national defense.  He embarked upon a course of cutting taxes and Government expenditures, refusing to deviate from it when the strengthening of defense forces led to a large deficit.

The Reagan Club of Colorado  held our first meeting in October, 2011.  Our group, based on Ronald Wilson Reagan, was founded on these principles:

PURPOSE:  To promote the core principles of conservative Republicans and to support candidates with the same values

MISSION: To support and promote candidates who believe in the Constitution, smaller government, lower tax rates, and personal freedom and to make available venues for fundraising events and candidate promotions.

We typically meet on the first Thursday evening every month.  Come join us and get involved.  You’ll have fun and enjoy our company.
