Democrats can blame themselves for blowing up the judicial filibuster.

Schadenfreude is overrated, but it is amusing to see Democrats apoplectic that Republicans might confirm a Supreme Court Justice with 51 Senate votes. Let’s review the tape on the Sage of Searchlight, Nevada, because Harry Reid made this moment possible by blowing up the filibuster for judicial nominees.

Democrats are in various stages of grief about the retirement of Justice Anthony Kennedy but the prevailing mood is rage. Democrats are insisting that the Senate not confirm a replacement until after the November election. The left is still furious that GOP Leader Mitch McConnell barred until after the 2016 election a vote on Merrick Garland, President Obama’s nominee to replace Antonin Scalia. Saturday 07/28/2018 – 1 to 3pm – Southeast corner of Highway 34 and Lake Loveland across from Dwayne Webster Veterans Park in Loveland, Colorado.

This will be a non-permit event utilizing and respecting our First Amendment right to protest on public sidewalks. There will be no speakers or set agenda. We will be lining Highway 34 along the south side of Lake Loveland with flags, banners, and signs proclaiming our support for President Trump and Making America Great Again. It will also be a great opportunity to network, make new friends, and meet like-minded people from all over Northern Colorado.

Please do bring:
– Enthusiasm
– Make America Great Again t-shirts, hats, and signs
– Trump, American, and historical, patriotic flags
– Banners and signs supporting the 2nd Amendment, secure borders, national sovereignty, patriotism, and a strong national defense etc.
– Water, sunscreen, and sunglasses

The Reagan Club meets on the first Thursday of every month at The Amazing Grace Community Church ( 541 E 99th Pl, Thornton, CO, 80229) from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. with doors open at 6:00 p.m.. We feature different programs and speakers as we honor the 40th President. The Reagan Club of Colorado seeks to promote the Constitution, smaller government, lower taxes, personal freedom, helping candidates, and educating the public about one of our greatest presidents, Ronald Wilson Reagan.
